E-tickets will now get you in at the next popular HYPE disco at the Harlington Centre in Fleet, on June 17.

Organisers of the under-16s disco are trialling the new ticket system, after more than 100 would-be clubbers were turned away recently.

They are urging parents to use the e-ticketing scheme to guarantee entry – both avoid youngsters' disappointment - and their own inconvenience as 'taxi service' having to drive back straight away to pick them up.

The anti-drug disco has become increasingly popular in recent months and numbers turning up now regularly exceed the legal capacity of the Fleet Road centre.

E-tickets for the next disco can be bought at www.skiddle.com and cost £6.

Organisers say they hope to work with the authorities to review capacity levels at the Harlington.

And they say they also hope to have a guest visit by a finalist from Britain's Got Talent, at a future disco.

Organised by the Hart Youth Partnership team, consisting of Hampshire Constabulary, Hampshire Youth Services and Fleet Lions.

Profits made from events are reinvested into youth programmes across Hart.
