Fleet is the sexiest place in the UK

People in Fleet spend the most on sex toys compared to anywhere else in the UK - ooohhh errrr missus!

We residents spend double the national average on saucy outfits, triple the average on bondage toys and four times as much on orgasm boosters, claims online retailer Lovehoney.

This could be one of the reasons why Fleet was voted the best place to live in the UK last year by the Halifax Quality of Life study.

Across the UK, sales of saucy items have shot up by more than 50 per cent during the last two years. And a survey by a national newspaper last year found that 71 per cent of their readers now own a sex toy.

"Couples simply can't afford to spend £100 on a big night out any more. They'd rather spend £40 with us and have a lot more excitement together at home," said Lovehoney owner Richard Longhurst.

The top ten sexiest places are:

1.    Fleet, Hants

2.    Didcot, Oxon

3.    Godalming, Surrey

4.    Basingstoke, Hants

5.    Aberystwyth, Ceredigion

6.    Dorchester, Dorset

7.    City of London & Westminster

8.    Trowbridge, Wilts

9.    Runneymede, Surrey

10.    Woking, Surrey
