Fleet theatre group promises Broadway show stoppers
The Court Moor Palace of Varieties is treading the boards at Court Moor School, from June 9 to 18, with a 30-strong cast.
The theatre group has been entertaining people and raising money for the school and local charities for nearly three decades.
"The show is an evening of music, songs, dance and comedy from stage musicals, films and various eras of popular music," said event organiser, Debbie Hoey.
"In the past few years we have covered the 'Roaring Twenties' the 'Sixties' and 'Miss Saigon' to name but a few. There is food and a bar and seating is at tables. So bring your friends for a really good fun night out."
"The cast come together to entertain and raise money. Last year the event raised over £5,000 for school funds and approx £3,000 for various charities."
The audience also enjoy a buffet or fish and chip supper while watching the show.
Yateley Lions, Kidney and Leukaemia Research and Fleet and Crookham Parish Churches are the local charities being supported this year.
Tickets are £15, which cover the cost of the food, and the public shows on June 11, 17 and 18 start at 7.30pm.
