    Time is now running out for people to apply for free insulation as applications need to be made by September 30 with installations completed by November 30. Hart District Council has already exceeded its target of 1,000 cavity wall and loft insulations under the Insulate Hampshire free scheme. The council has contributed £33,000 to the scheme and has drawn in £327,000 of external funding from Scottish Power for it....

    If it stops raining, new free red parking bays will be installed in Fleet by this weekend, says the council. Hart coucillors have given their thumbs up to the six new 30-minute free bays in Fleet's Victoria Road car park. The move follows a long campaign by local residents, traders and the town council to make more free parking bays available for short term visitors to the town.
