Sirius Lions Club is a new club currently being started in Fleet. Aimed at younger adults ages 18 - 45 (approx), the aim of the group is to raise funds for charities, help in the local commuity and have lots of social fun whilst doing it! They are currently looking for people who have a passion for volunteering and who are looking to enhance their social life, meet new people and give back to the Fleet community at large.

We currently meet every other Sunday at 6:30pm at The Falkners Arms on Ancellas Park and would love to see you there one day!

Sounds very exciting! And its great young people are doing it. Go for it!!!! Got any ideas for which charities you want to help first? What sort of fundraising activities would you like to do?

We had a really productive meeting last night and had some BRILLIANT and really exciting ideas - we just need to look into some of them to see if we can get the support and then we can get going on the organising of it all!

We think we are going to work a log with the younger people in Fleet; a lot of us already help with teh HYPE disco's and things and so are welcome to suggestions!

More will come soon I am sure ..!

Had another fantastic meeting last night - we even voted in a chairman, secretary and Treasurer andhave committed to helping at the Lions Fireworks Fiesta and are renting a spot for the Fleet Festivites.

If you or anyone you know is aged approximately 18 - 45 and wants to meet new people, try new tings, raise funds fro charity and help in the local community, please ask them to get i touch with me as we would love for you (or them!) to get involved!
