Located on Fleet street, this classy place offers a casual, fun and upbeat approach to food and drink from the menu as well as indulging from a selection of cocktails, beers and wines. During the day, Propaganda is a fine place to have coffee too. This is a great little hang out spot in Fleet.

    'Propagaybar' in Fleet OK but heavy handed door policy

       

    It's known locally as 'Propagaybar'. Don't know why but it is a very modern and stylish venues with a nice mixture of people of all ages. Great atmosphere some nights. However on two ocassions now have seen people refused entry for no reason. They weren't drunk or abusive. One lady was refused entry even though all she had done was go out to speak to her fella outside who was having a smoke. The doorman hadn't noticed her walk past him so thought she was a new customer. No amount of pleading from boyfriend and lady - even with her bag and drink still inside the bar - she was told to move on. Very tearful. Not very nice for us watching it. Sort it out Propaganda!

They have a comprehensive selection of food on offer, all of which can be washed down with a variety of quality beers, cocktails and wines. They regularly host music nights, with tribute acts, local bands, open mic events and DJs.

    Stylish Bar/Local Music Venue

       

    Propaganda Music Canteen is located right at the top of Fleet High Street, Conveniently placed half way on the pub crawl to the local nightclub Jaxx. It has a very modern stylish interior and becomes extremely popular on student nights and weekends. Every Thursday night they play host to local bands and excellent cover bands, which makes it definitely worth a visit and the place to be. There is a good selection of cocktails, beers and your usual student drinks, it also offers a solid menu throughout the day consisting of very American style dishes of burgers and nachos, which compliment a ice cold beer perfectly., It can be enjoyed as a nice wine bar or a hectic rock n roll beer fest. Definitely one of if not the liveliest place on the high street.

    This place is cool!

    Great idea to combine music, comedy, food and drink in such an informal way.

    Lovely staff, good food, and most importantly a great atmosphere and vibe. I will definitely go back!

    I went for their 'famous' rotisserie chicken, which was excellent and good value at £8.50 for a half chicken. Very succulent and a big portion, delicious gravy too!

    Their cocktail list is great too, I would recommend the Strawberry Shortcake - never tried it before Propaganda - but delicious. The bar staff know what they are doing!
