It was the first time we'd eaten there since its revamp so we thought we'd try it out for Valentine's Night. Very impressed. We\had the scalllops and monkfish which were delicious. Lots of choice on the menu. All looked lovely. Used the special voucher to get the Moet Champagne for £25. Service was fast and courteous. Will defo go back again.

This is a rather satisfactory pub though perhaps not the best in the Fleet area. It also just had a refurb in recent times and looks pretty decent and the food selection is pretty good too. There's also a great choice of ales around. If you're looking for a run-of-the-mill pub then this will suit you fine.
The Oatsheaf in Crookham Road, Fleet is a pub dedicated to tasty food and quality ale. Their menu contains a number of classic British dishes, cooked with skill and imagination and sold at agreeable prices. Ale-wise, the owners are great believers in cask-conditioned ale and even offer a try-before-you-buy deal.

As a group we already challenged Ember Inns on the state of their toilets last year, now in the summer we find bird poo all over the tables, cigarette ends all over the grass and unemptied ashtrays on the tables, litter bins overflowing, umberellas lying on the ground, it is just disgusting, no wonder it is dead. And to add to this a very unbothered unfriendly female manager, who cant be bothered to look up when she serves you.

ReportThe Oatsheaf is the pub that dominates the very top of the high street on the crossroads; it is vast in its exterior and acts as the perfect first stop of the many bars and pubs Fleet has to offer. It has a traditional setting with a nice menu during the day and your usual weekly quizzes and entertainment. The staff are rushed off their feet but always pleasant and the variety of drinks is well worth the trek.
